When a couple in the Clinton Township area decides to divorce there’s a good chance they’ll have some pretty harsh feelings towards one another. That is very common in any divorce. It’s also very normal to want to share those feelings with other people. However, if you’re going through a divorce then you should be very careful what you say to others, especially when it comes to business and property division.
A 51-year-old woman is feeling the effects of publicly sharing her now ex-husband’s marital indiscretions before their divorce was final. According to court documents, the woman did stand to receive about 50 percent of the value of her husband’s partnership in a prestigious law firm. However, after she made many public attacks against her estranged husband, he claimed that the value of his business was damaged. The judge apparently agreed.
